How to create a playlist in itunes?
Open itunes and at the bottom left corner you will plus (+) sign. This will add empty playlist for you, you can choose a name for it. After typing the name press return key (enter). To add songs, to to library (on top left) and select music, run through your collection. Drag and drop the songs you want in your playlist.
How to control your backlight time?
From main menu scroll down to settings, press center select button. List of options will come select backlight and choose your time. On new ipod nano you will find general under settings, backlight option is there.
How to rate your favorite songs?
While you are playing a song, press center select button thrice (twice on new nano) and star rating window will appear. Use click wheel clockwise and anti clockwise to add or take away stars. Now you can sort your songs according to ratings.
