Backup your videos to dvd
You can back up your videos and itunes purchases to a data DVD. Your computer must be equipped with dvd burner to do this. In your itunes, click on file (top left ), choose library and click back up to disc. A dialog box will appear and you can choose your options. You will be prompted to insert a black disc and it is pretty much done. Now your music is not lost when hard disk crashes or your computer dies.

Moving music and movies to another computer
You can authorize upto five computers to play your purchased music contents. If you want to move contents to another computer, connect your ipod to desired computer, normally a dialog appears, asking you to transfer contents, if it doesn’t happen then you can do it manually also. Under File menu, click transfer purchases from (your ipod name). click OK and you are done.

How to share itunes store music
You can authorize five computers to listen your purchases from itunes store. To authorize it, log on to itunes store using your username and password. Go to store menu and choose authorize computer. That’s it, now you can play your purchased songs on this computer.

Putting restrictions on ipod downloads (child lock)
You may like to prevent your children from downloading any stuff from itunes store. To do this use parental lock, press ctrl- on your pc to get preferences popup. Click on the parental icon, now here you can put restrictions on movies, tv shows, games and content. Don’t forget to click on the lock icon to prevent further changes.
